How do I pay?

We accept cash, cheque or credit card. Payment must be received in full prior to the move taking place.

Do you have insurance?

We can provide insurance based on the value of your consignment declared.

What if parking is difficult?

We will establish this on the day of survey and take this into account. We will contact the local County Council and reserve the parking spaces needed. The charge for this will be passed onto each client.

What about boxes?

If you wish for the full service to be provided, our crews will bring the boxes with them on the day of the removal.

Do you unpack?

Our crews will unpack and place all items on counter tops and remove the debris.  If you have packed all your effects our crews will place each box in rooms for unpacking by you.  If you wish for the debris to be collected at a later date this can be arranged at an additional fee.

Can you dismantle & reassemble my items?

Our staff are trained in dismantling and reassembly.

Do you have cancellation fees?

If you postpone or cancel the contract we may charge you according to how much notice is given as follows:

  • More than 14 days before the removal was due to start, Nil.
  • Less than 14 days but more than 8 days before the removal was due to start, 25% of the removal charge.
  • Less than 8 days but more than 3 days before the removal was due to start, 35% of the removal charge.
  • Less than 3 days before the removal was due to start, 60% of the removal charge.

Do you charge more for weekend work?

If you wish your removal to take place on a weekend day you must mention this to our surveyor in order for him / her to ensure this is worked into our costs.

How do I arrange for an estimate?

Please complete the enquiry form and we will contact you within 24 hours, or you can contact our office directly to arrange for a surveyor to call to your home to carry out a pre-move survey.  Our surveyor will get an estimate to you within 48 hours of your survey.

How much notice do I give for my forthcoming removal?

As much notice as possible.

Can I pack my own goods?

You can indeed pack your own effects. We can provide boxes or crates and materials in advance of your removal so you can do the packing.  Please bear in mind if you wish to pack your own effects we will not be able to offer you all risks transit insurance.

Do you provide storage if my new house is not ready?

Yes we can provide storage from as little as one day to as long as it is required. Please mention you may require storage to the surveyor and he / she will quote you for this.

How will staff know where to put my things?

At the start point our crews will mark each box individually, and upon arrival at destination they will require you to be there in order for them to know where each box goes.

What about cleaning?

We can arrange for cleaning to be carried out on your behalf once removal is complete. If you wish to arrange cleaning services yourself this is best left until our crews are finished in your home.

Can I bring plants and food abroad?

It is advisable not to pack any foods, alcohol or plants in your shipment as this may cause delays, extra charges and/or fines.
