Health & Safety

We take the issue of Health and Safety in the work place very seriously. All of our crew members are fully trained in manual handling, together with Health and Safety practices and procedures.

Within the basic fit, all members of staff are fully uniformed with high visibility clothing and steel toe capped shoes. All vehicles and equipment are fully serviced and training in the use of specialised machinery is carried out for all operatives. Working in the environment of office relocation, we are regularly on construction sites and are fully aware of the legislative requirements surrounding the following:

  • Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 1989
  • Factories Act 1955
  • Safety in Industry Act, 1980
  • Conditions of Employment Act
  • Safety, Health and Welfare (General Applications) Regulations 1993
  • Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006

Prior to a move taking place it is sometimes necessary that a site Risk Assessment is carried out. This ensures that the environment in which our staff are required to operate is accessible. We have provided all our staff with the suitable facilities, equipment and vehicles necessary to execute your move. We ensure that both office and outside crews have been fully trained and informed of both the employer and employee obligations pertaining to the Health and Safety legislation.

We endeavour to do our best to ensure that all parties are made aware of the up-to-date H&S requirements.
